What no one shows you about building a brand.

I’ll be honest with you.
There are days when I wake up and don't know if this is going to work. When I look at everything I've already done and think: is it worth it? Does anyone even care?
And then I remember why I started.
It wasn't for the money. It was to prove to myself that I could. That I was capable of taking an idea that existed only in my head and turning it into something real, something people wear, something that lasts.
The behind-the-scenes at Velle isn't glamorous. It’s nights spent reviewing details that probably only I notice. It’s decisions made alone, without a team, without an investor, without a safety net. It’s mistakes that cost money and lessons that are priceless.
But it’s also those moments when a piece finally turns out right. When you look at it and think: yes, this is it. When someone wears it and says they feel like themselves.
Those moments are the reason for it all.
Velle is still growing. I am still learning. But we are here, building for real, with no shortcuts.
Thank you for being a part of this.
